Meizu 21 Pro is set to be the final smartphone from the company, and it seems like they are aiming for a grand finale. Recent reports suggest the phone will boast top-of-the-line features such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 16 GB RAM, and the latest 50 MP OV50H sensor from OmniVision, which is a 1”-type platform.

The 21 Pro will also introduce a large under-display fingerprint scanner named mTouch Max, as confirmed by the company.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Meizu 21 Pro will feature a telephoto camera with a periscope lens, a first in the company’s lineup. The front display is expected to be a 1440p screen with slim bezels and a punch hole for the front camera, while Meizu plans to equip the 21 Pro with a 5,000 mAh battery offering 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

While these specifications are impressive, they may not be groundbreaking. The CEO of Meizu recently mentioned that the company is exiting the smartphone market due to the increasing similarities between devices, and the Meizu 21 Pro seems to follow the trend of other high-end flagships.

The big question remains about the future of software support, as the FlymeOS team will be shifted internally to focus on AI projects.
