Motorola revealed the Edge 50 Pro earlier this month, but it won’t be the only device in the Edge 50 series for much longer. Leaks have already surfaced for both the Edge 50 Ultra and the Edge 50 Fusion, and Motorola has confirmed an event on April 16 to unveil the entire Edge family. It is likely that the Edge 50 Ultra will be officially announced on April 16.
As the announcement date approaches, someone with a prototype of the Edge 50 Ultra decided to run Geekbench 6 on it, making the unannounced phone show up in the benchmark’s online database. It achieved a single-core score of 1,947 and a multi-core score of 5,149.
The Edge 50 Ultra in the benchmark was equipped with Qualcomm’s recently unveiled Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and 12GB of RAM. It was running Android 14, which is expected to be the operating system for the production model as well.
According to previous leaks, the Edge 50 Ultra is rumored to feature a 50 MP main rear camera, an ultrawide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
