Motorola made a few important announcements during this year’s MWC event, revealing that all upcoming smartphones will be equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass.

Motorola announces Corning partnership, Smart Connect

Although Motorola already uses Gorilla Glass in most of its high-end and mid-range phones, this new revelation ensures that even their budget-friendly Moto devices will now offer enhanced scratch and drop resistance thanks to Corning’s technology.

“By integrating Corning Gorilla Glass into all Motorola product lines, we are setting the standard in the industry to provide consumers with the durability and peace of mind that comes with cutting-edge technology.” – Ruben Castano, Head of Customer Experience at Motorola

Additionally, Motorola introduced Smart Connect – a suite of features that enable seamless interaction between smartphones, tablets, and PCs from both Motorola and Lenovo. This integrated multi-device experience includes cross-device control, unified keyboard and mouse support, synchronized notifications, a smart clipboard, quick file sharing, and the option to use your phone as a webcam.
