Motorola recently announced that the Edge 50 Ultra will feature rapid 125W charging. Their tweet revealed an animation showcasing the phone’s internal components but stopped short of revealing the device itself. This newest teaser goes the extra mile.
Take a look at the phone adorned in Pantone’s Color of the Year 2024, named “Peach Fuzz.” This particular hue has already been used in the Motorola Edge 40 Neo and the Razr 40 Ultra.

Returning to the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, the design aligns with the renders we’ve seen, featuring a camera island in the top left corner. The distinctive oval shape houses the 72mm periscope lens.
Leaked information suggests that the Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, sporting a curved 6.7″ FHD+ 165Hz display and a 50MP main camera. Additionally, it is expected to use Gorilla Glass, thanks to Motorola’s collaboration with Corning.

The Motorola Edge 50 event is set for April 16th (tomorrow), coinciding with the European launch of the already official Motorola Edge 50 Pro (featuring Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 125W charging).
Aside from the Ultra and Pro models, there is anticipation for a Fusion variant (rumored to have Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 68W charging). The Ultra model is expected to launch in the US as the Motorola Edge+ 2024. Refer to this post for rumored prices of the upcoming models.
