Motorola recently introduced the Edge 50 Pro, a high-end midrange smartphone equipped with a 4,500mAh battery supporting 125W charging and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It features a 50MP f/1.4 main camera with OIS, a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultrawide camera.
Running on Android 14 with Motorola’s new Hello UI, the Edge 50 Pro promises 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security patches. The device boasts a stunning 6.7-inch 1220p pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Prices for the Edge 50 Pro start at INR 31,999 ($383) for the 8/256GB variant and go up to INR 35,999 ($431) for the 12/256GB model. Open sales in India are scheduled to kick off on April 9.
OnePlus also launched the Nord CE4, another upper midrange phone powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. It comes with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 100W SuperVOOC charging, a Sony LYT-600 sensor for the main camera, and a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Nord CE4 is available in two variants – the 8/128GB model priced at ₹25,000 ($300/€280) and the 8/256GB model priced at ₹27,000.
Leaked information suggests that the upcoming iPhone 16 series will feature new buttons and a larger display option for the Pro Max model. Additionally, Tecno recently launched its Camon 30 series in various African markets, with plans for a global expansion.
