There has been a flurry of leaks surrounding Google’s upcoming Pixel 8a lately. Recently, a spec sheet for the device was leaked, following another leak of its specs. Google may have even subtly revealed the Pixel 8a in an ad last week.
Today, new images of the phone have surfaced, showcasing the front and back of the device in what is likely to be called Obsidian (Google’s name for black). The rear image shows the camera setup with minimal branding, while the front reveals relatively large bezels, particularly the chin, which may be a point of contention in this price range.
Compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 8a features more rounded corners and is expected to come in Obsidian, Porcelain (white), and Bay (blue) colors. It is rumored to be powered by Google’s Tensor G3 chipset, sport a 6.1-inch 120 Hz OLED screen, 128/256GB storage, a 64 MP main camera with OIS, a 13 MP ultrawide lens, a 13 MP selfie camera, and a 4,500 mAh battery with 27W wired charging support.
