The Nothing Phone (2a) has arrived, offering most of the features found in the Nothing Phone (2) at a more affordable price point. Nothing promises an exceptional daily user experience with their expertise in engineering and craftsmanship.
Let’s start with the design of the Phone (2a). It incorporates Nothing’s original internal smartphone design concept, developed in 2020 shortly after Nothing’s launch. One standout feature is the dual camera system housed within the NFC coil, referred to as ‘the eyes’. The back panel of the phone wraps around the edges at a 90-degree angle, enhancing drop resistance. Available colors for the back panel include Black, White, and ‘Milk’.
The Nothing Phone (2a) features Nothing’s signature Glyph interface with 26 individually addressable zones. These lights support various functions like the Glyph Timer, notifications, Glyph Torch, and Glyph Progress.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is powered by a Dimensity 7200 Pro chip, a collaboration between Nothing and MediaTek. This SoC is based on TSMC’s latest 4nm process and boasts a processor speed of up to 2.8GHz.
On the front, the phone sports a 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with a resolution of 1084x2412px, peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and a variable refresh rate ranging from 30-120Hz. Running on Nothing OS 2.5 atop Android 14, the phone guarantees 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
The camera setup includes a dual 50MP system on the rear, along with a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera (1/2.74-inch) similar to the one on the Nothing Phone (2). The main rear cameras consist of a 50MP f/1.88 wide angle with OIS (1/1.56-inch sensor) and a 50MP f/2.2 fixed-focus ultrawide (1/2.76-inch sensor).
With a 5,000mAh battery, the Nothing Phone (2a) boasts the largest battery capacity in its class. It supports fast charging up to 45W, enabling a 50% charge in just 23 minutes and a full charge in 59 minutes. Nothing assures that the battery will retain 90% capacity after 1,000 charging cycles, equivalent to over three years of daily use.
The Nothing Phone (2a) is now available for pre-order on nothing.tech and will start shipping on March 12. Globally, it is offered in two versions – the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at €329, £319, or INR 23,999. The higher-tier variant comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage, priced at €379, £349, or INR 27,999. An exclusive 8GB/256GB model will be available in India for INR 25,999.
