Following the introduction of the OnePlus Watch 2 at MWC, Oppo has unveiled its own Oppo Watch X. Upon first glance, it’s clear that these two watches have many similarities because they are essentially the same device with different branding.

The Oppo Watch X is virtually identical to the OnePlus Watch 2 in terms of design and specifications. It runs on dual operating systems, with Google WearOS 4 managing more demanding tasks and a separate real-time operating system (RTOS) handling activities and health tracking. The Watch X is equipped with the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset and a BES 2700BP co-processor combo, along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The smartwatch features a round 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 500 mAh battery. Oppo claims that the battery can last up to 100 hours in standard mode and up to 12 days in power saver mode. Additionally, it supports VOOC Flash charging, providing a day’s worth of power in just 10 minutes and a full charge in 60 minutes.

The Oppo Watch X offers dual-band GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity. It is IP68-rated, 5ATM waterproof, and has passed 16 MIL-STD-810H durability tests.

The Oppo Watch X is available in Platinum Black and Mars Brown colors, with a price of MYR 1,399 ($295) in Malaysia and sales starting on March 2. Availability in other markets is expected soon, pending confirmation from Oppo.
