The Realme Narzo 70 Pro was just launched last week as a 5G mid-range device that aims to excel in various areas. Featuring a flat 6.67” FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display (unlike its predecessor, the 60 Pro), the phone is equipped with the Dimensity 7050 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage (with an option to upgrade to 256GB for an additional ₹2,000).
In terms of the camera setup, the new model sports a 50MP main (1/1.56”, with OIS) and adds an 8MP ultra-wide lens. However, this change comes at the expense of 4K video recording. On the positive side, the Narzo 70 Pro now includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and IP54 rating. The phone retains its 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy F15 was introduced earlier this month, featuring a 6.6” FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. Positioned as an entry-level device, it is powered by the Dimensity 6100+ processor with 4GB of RAM (with an option to increase to 6GB for ₹1,500). The device sports a 50MP main camera and a 5MP ultra-wide camera. It also includes a large 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, in addition to 5G connectivity.
The Poco C61 was recently announced as another entry-level offering. Priced lower and limited to 4G connectivity (powered by the Helio G36), it features a 6.71” IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution running at 90Hz. The rear camera is a basic 8MP shooter, and the device comes with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 10W charging. Despite its limitations, it does offer a microSD slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For a comparison, consider the older Poco C55. With a 90Hz FHD+ IPS LCD display and a more powerful Helio G88 processor, it offers better performance than the C61. The rear camera boasts a higher 64MP resolution, and the 5,000mAh battery supports faster 33W charging. Furthermore, it comes at a more affordable price point compared to the C61.
Looking for an affordable option, the Lava O2 is now available for purchase at a price similar to that of the C61. With a 6.5” 90Hz IPS LCD display (HD+ resolution) and a Unisoc T616 chipset, it offers a decent package. The device features a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
On the horizon, OnePlus is set to unveil the Nord CE4 on Monday, April 1. The device is expected to feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, 100W SuperVOOC charging, and an FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. More details are awaited for this upcoming release.
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro is scheduled to go on sale on April 4, and early buyers will receive a Tecno S2 Bluetooth speaker valued at ₹5,000 as a bonus. Featuring a spacious 6.78” 120Hz AMOLED display (FHD+), the device is powered by a Dimensity 6080 chipset. The rear camera sports an impressive 108MP sensor, while the 32MP selfie camera comes with dual-LED flash support. The phone houses a sizable 6,000mAh battery with fast 70W charging capabilities. Additionally, it offers expandable storage and stereo speakers, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Honor Pad 9 has completed its pre-order phase and is now available for purchase on Amazon. With a 12.1” IPS LCD display offering 120Hz refresh rate and colors, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It features 8 speakers within its 7mm thick aluminum body and is equipped with an 8,300mAh battery supporting 35W fast charging.
For a budget-friendly option, consider the older Honor Pad 8. Featuring a 12” IPS LCD display with 10-bit colors (limited to 60Hz), it runs on the dated Snapdragon 680 processor. The device offers a smaller 7,250mAh battery with 22.5W charging, but includes 8 speakers, making it a good choice for media consumption.
Rounding up the list are two upcoming devices from Samsung – the Galaxy M55 and M15. The M55 offers 45W charging for its 5,000mAh battery, a first for non-flagship Samsung devices. Boasting a 6.7” 120Hz FHD+ OLED display with Always On feature, the phone sports a 50MP main camera with a large sensor and OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and comes with expandable storage and stereo speakers.
As for the Galaxy M15, it bears a striking resemblance to the F15 mentioned earlier. The primary difference lies in the display size – the M15 features a slightly smaller 6.5” panel, while both devices offer FHD+ 90Hz OLED displays.
