Apple is known for releasing a new iPhone family every year, but a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests that the same schedule won’t apply to the Vision Pro line of headsets.
According to Gurman, the Apple Vision Pro 2 is not expected to launch for at least 18 months, signaling a different strategy in comparison to Apple’s smartphone releases.
The earliest expected arrival for the Vision Pro 2 is August 2025, with a potential launch in September to coincide with next year’s iPhone announcement.
Interestingly, Apple has reportedly been eager to gather feedback from customers who returned the original Vision Pro, using this information to improve the Vision Pro 2.
While previous rumors suggested a 2027 release for the next Vision Pro headset, it seems more likely that a cheaper, non-Pro Vision headset will be launched next year based on other rumors.
