Google recently hinted at a new color option for the Pixel 8 Pro, which they’ve dubbed Minty Fresh. With a release date set for after January 25 at midnight PT, a leaked render of the phone has surfaced online.
A teaser, which appears to be official, was shared by Evan Blass on their X profile, and the phone is undeniably a refreshing shade of green.
The last time Google released a green-colored smartphone was the Pixel 6a back in May. Minty Fresh will mark the first green option for a flagship Pixel, adding to the already available Obsidian (Black), Porcelain (White), and Bay (Blue) color choices. The phone will also come with a green-themed interface.
Internally, the phone is expected to remain the same, featuring the Tensor G3 chipset, a 50 MP main camera, and pure Android 14 with a promised 7 years of software support.
Although our initial review pointed out some issues with battery life and chipset performance under heavy load, we still found the Pixel 8 Pro to be a solid overall package.
