Samsung has recently begun shipping the latest Galaxy S24 flagships, but some early users have noticed an issue with the screen mode. Reports indicate that the screen doesn’t display as much color in Vivid Mode as expected, and Samsung has acknowledged the problem.
According to Ice Universe, Samsung is working on a solution to enhance the colors and provide more control over vividness. This three-step option is expected to be included in the next software update.
The first step will be the default saturation, offering a more vivid display compared to the Natural option but not as vibrant as previous Samsung phones.
By sliding the toggle to the middle, users can expect the S24 display to deliver colors closer to those of the S23, while the third option promises even more vibrancy.
The toggle will likely be located in the Advanced Settings of the Vivid Screen mode within the Display Settings. It will be positioned below the White Balance options, allowing users to manually adjust the RGB levels of the display.

Despite the vivid mode issues, customer interest in the Galaxy S24 series remains strong, prompting Samsung to increase its shipment target from 12 million to 13 million units for Q1 2024. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the most popular model, accounting for 65% of pre-orders with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Titanium frame, and new telephoto camera.
