HMD has introduced a new variant of the Nokia G42 in India, featuring 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Priced at INR9,999 ($120/€110), it will be available for purchase starting March 8 on Amazon.in and HMD’s official Indian website. The device will come in So Purple and So Grey color options.
In addition to the newly launched variant, the Nokia G42 is also available in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations in India, priced at INR12,999 ($155/€145) and INR16,999 ($205/€190) respectively, and sold through HMD’s website.
The Nokia G42 is powered by the Snapdragon 480+ SoC and received the Android 14 update in India back in January. It features a 6.56″ 90Hz HD+ LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, an 8MP selfie camera notch, and a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of 50MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units. The device is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, and 5G connectivity.
