There is a growing trend in the popularity of foldable phones, leading to an increase in market share as more OEMs enter the market. Recently, nubia announced their first foldable phone, the Flip 5G, at MWC. This device is very similar to the ZTE Libero Flip, which was launched in Japan last week and features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, a 50MP main camera, and a 6.9-inch OLED screen.
The Flip 5G comes with a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display with a resolution of 1,188 x 2,790px and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also features a circular 1.43-inch cover screen with a resolution of 466 x 466px. This secondary screen can be used as a camera viewfinder, for taking calls, controlling media playback, displaying weather info, and other simple tasks.
