ZTE’s branch nubia has already revealed its Flip 5G at MWC, along with several other new phones. These include the camera-centric nubia Focus and Focus Pro, a budget-friendly gaming phone called the Neo 2, and the music-focused nubia Music.
Like many smartphone announcements at MWC, ZTE did not specify pricing and availability details for all the new devices. However, it has been confirmed that these phones will be available in Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
nubia Focus and Focus Pro come with a 108MP Neovision main camera (1/1.67” and f/1.75 aperture) and a retro-inspired dual-tone back design with a large camera module. The main 108MP camera offers five focal lengths (18-72mm) on the Focus Pro and four on the Focus. Both phones feature in-sensor zoom, RAW HDR, and 4K video recording.
The Focus Pro features a sliding button on the side frame for instant access to the camera app, as well as a dedicated capacitive camera shutter. The nubia Focus has a 6.6-inch (HD+ 120Hz) display, while the Focus Pro offers a 6.72-inch (FHD+ 120Hz) panel.
Both phones are powered by Unisoc T760 chipsets with 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and 5,000 mAh batteries with 33W fast charging. The nubia Focus is expected to start at $199, but prices may vary by region.
nubia Neo 2 is positioned as a budget gaming phone priced at $199, featuring capacitive shoulder triggers, a 6.72-inch display (FHD+ 120Hz), and a 5G-capable Unisoc T820 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
ZTE highlights a multi-layer heat dissipation system for optimal performance during gaming and a dedicated Game Space 2.0 interface on the Neo 2. The phone also features Dual DTS:X Ultra speakers and a 6,000 mAh battery with 33W charging.
nubia Music offers an innovative design with a focus on audio capabilities. While it appears like a regular smartphone from the front with a 6.6-inch (HD+ 90Hz) display and punch hole cutout, the real feature is on the back.
The large DTS-branded loudspeaker next to the cameras promises to be 600% louder than standard smartphone speakers. Additionally, the nubia Music boasts two 3.5mm headphone jacks, allowing users to share music with a friend using wired headphones.
The nubia Music is equipped with a Unisoc SC9863A chipset, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Pricing for the nubia Music is expected to start at $149.
