Introducing the latest addition to the Realme 12 series, the newly unveiled Realme 12+ which has made its debut in Indonesia and Malaysia. This new smartphone in the 12 series offers a Dimensity 7050 chipset, 67W charging, and a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and OIS.
As anticipated, the Realme 12+ boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera. It also includes a built-in fingerprint scanner that doubles as a heart rate tracker. The back of the phone features the same vegan leather design as seen on the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, with a large circular camera island housing three cameras.
Realme 12+ features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor
The primary 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor comes with an f/1.88 aperture and 26mm equivalent focal range. The sensor provides 2x in-sensor zoom with a dedicated portrait mode and features OIS. Additionally, Realme has included a 16mm equivalent 8MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro camera.
Under the hood, the Realme 12+ is powered by a Dimensity 7050 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The software side is taken care of by Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, and the phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W charging.
Realme 12+ in Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige
The Realme 12+ is available in Navigator Beige and Pioneer Green color options. It is priced at IDR 4,199,000 ($267) in Indonesia and MYR 1,499 ($315) in Malaysia. Open sales begin on March 8.
