The vivo Y200 made its debut last October, and the Y200e 5G is set to join the lineup next week. The announcement comes from vivo’s Indian division, which revealed that the Y200e 5G will be launching in India on February 22.
vivo’s teaser for the Y200e 5G showcases the smartphone in two different colors and with triple rear cameras. One of the models, called Saffron Delight, is in an orange color and features a rear panel with an “Eco-Fibre Leather” finish.
vivo is promoting it as “India’s First Durable Eco-Fiber Leather” and states that it passed various durability tests, including 500 cycles of Denim Roller with Quartz Sand Test, 48 hours of Salt Spray Test, and 24 hours of Stain Resistance Test. The brand also claims that stains from red wine, coffee, and dragon fruit can be wiped off the surface within 24 hours.
vivo has not revealed any specifications for the Y200e 5G, but Flipkart has disclosed that the smartphone will feature a 120Hz AMOLED screen. It’s possible that vivo or Flipkart will confirm more details about the Y200e 5G before its launch next Thursday.
