Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi A3 smartphone which is said to be very cost-effective. The design of the phone includes a leather-like finish on the back, a large display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and it operates on the Android 14 operating system.

The Redmi A3 features a Helio G36 chipset, the same as the predecessor A2. However, the RAM options for the A3 are 3 GB, 4 GB, or 6 GB, which is an upgrade from the 2/3/4 GB options of its predecessor. This upgrade allowed Xiaomi to transition the A3 to the full Android 14, instead of the Android 13 Go edition which powered its predecessors.
