Reports indicate that OnePlus is gearing up to unveil a new mid-range smartphone this month. Leaks suggest that the company is working on the OnePlus Ace 3V, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, making it the first device to feature this processor.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to sport a 1.5K display, a resolution term Chinese companies use to describe screens with resolutions between 1080p and 1440p. However, this doesn’t seem like a significant improvement over the screen resolution of the OnePlus Ace 2V, which had a display resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels.

Additionally, the OnePlus Ace 3V is rumored to come equipped with a hefty 5,500 mAh battery and support for 100W SuperVOOC wired charging, as revealed by a source on Weibo. Interestingly, this battery capacity matches that of the OnePlus Ace 3, which was later rebranded internationally as the OnePlus 12R.

The leak also mentioned that OnePlus is planning to launch the OnePlus 13 sooner than expected, aiming to be one of the first manufacturers to release a flagship device featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The official unveiling of the new chipset is set to take place at this year’s Snapdragon Summit, scheduled for October.
