Prior to its official reveal next week, on February 26, today the OnePlus Watch 2 was discovered at the FCC. The required certification indicates that the smartwatch will feature a substantial 500 mAh battery.

It’s worth noting that the original OnePlus Watch had a 402 mAh battery, and Samsung’s Galaxy Watch6 in the larger size had to settle for 425 mAh. Only the Galaxy Watch5 Pro surpasses the upcoming OnePlus Watch 2 with its 590 mAh battery.

This all indicates that the OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to have impressive battery life for a smartwatch. The FCC has also revealed that it will support 10W charging, in line with the capabilities of the aforementioned Samsung watches. The certification also confirms the presence of Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi on the OnePlus Watch 2.

The OnePlus Watch 2 will be available in Radiant Steel and Black Steel colors, and there are rumors that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset will power the device, with Google’s Wear OS 4 running the show. All the details will be revealed in just a few days, so stay tuned.
