Hatchbacks often lack an impressive design, but the Nissan Note defies this stereotype with a futuristic appeal and a fuel-efficient engine. Recently, we reviewed the Nissan Dayz, which was well-received by our PakWheelers, prompting us to explore more from this automaker.

So, without further ado, let’s delve into the details of the Note E13.

Overview

The first generation of the Nissan Note, known as E11, was a joint project by Renault and Nissan from 2004 to 2013. The second generation, introduced in 2013, was in production until 2020, making it the most common Nissan hatchback in Pakistan. The E13, introduced in 2021, is the latest and third generation, available in 3 variants: Base, Nismo, and Nismo Aura (the top-line variant).

Price and Purchase Decision

The owner was in search of a hybrid car with stylish looks and considered options like the Toyota Aqua and Prius. The Nissan Note caught their eye with its stylish appearance. The base variant was priced at around 6.5 to 7 million at the time of purchase.

Exterior

The overall appearance of the Nissan Note is reminiscent of the Nissan Leaf. It originally came in white but was wrapped in a satin grey color by the owner to enhance its boldness. The front grille features a combination of Gloss Black and Satin Grey with Nismo badging. The front bumper has chrome molding and air inlets. Aftermarket multi-spoke rims add to its aggressiveness. Other features include Gloss Black side mirrors, roof, and smart entry door locks, as well as a rear profile with continuous taillights, LEDs, and a rear diffuser.

Nissan Note E-Power Interior

The interior is comfortable and includes an electronic mirror, radar, and a fully digital screen. The carbon fiber dashboard extends from end to end, giving it a connected look. Safety features like Blindspot Monitoring and seven airbags are included.

Missing Feature

The Nissan Note does not have a sunroof or a wireless charger, and the base variant could benefit from a larger infotainment screen. While road handling is good, the underbody clearance is lower than expected.

Nissan Note Fuel Average

Equipped with an e-power engine generating 116 HP from an 85 KW battery, the Nissan Note delivers an 18 Km/L fuel average within the city, slightly lower than the Prius and Aqua. However, its striking looks set it apart from its competitors.
