This month, again, we are here with details revealing what local car assemblers has earned last month in terms of sales. And this is not first time, we bring same report in the mid of every month.
After observing a series of jumps in last several months, car sales chart has again gone down by considerable 22%. As per Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, car makers sold 10,163 units in this November compared to 13,108 vehicles October 2024.
Meanwhile year-on-year (YoY) sales reported a significant growth of 57%. Local car manufacturers managed to sell 50,856 units in FY25 against 33,637 cars in FY24.
Two & Three wheelers
Highlighting motorcycle and three-wheeler sales, local bike makers witnessed a decrease of 12% last month, reaching 120,484 bikes last month compared to 137,693 units in October 2024. Concerning year-on-year sales, it observed a jump of 36%, selling 120,484 units in November contra 88,493 vehicles in corresponding period of last year.
Atlas Honda sales decreased by 13% last month, reaching 100,588 units last month against 115,293 units in October 2024. Meanwhile, Pak Suzuki gone down by 12%, selling 1,912 bikes last month compared to 2,182 units in October 2024.
Trucks & Buses
Sales of trucks and buses has also decreased by 7% last month selling 328 units compared to 351 in October 2024.
Company-Wise Sales Breakdown
Toyota Pakistan’s sales decreased by 13%, selling 2,194 units last month compared to 2,532 vehicles in October 2024.
However, Honda Atlas sales narrate a same story, saw a decrease of 27%, selling 1,112 units last month compared to 1,514 units in October 2024.
Pak Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) sales decreased by 26%, selling 5,374 vehicles in November 2024 against 7,302 cars in Oct’24.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Nishat sales observed an up of 21%, selling 724 units last month compared to 598 units in October 2024.
Sazgar Engineering (SAZEW) sales decreased by 42% in November 2024, selling 584 cars contra to 1,002 units in October 2024.
It is worth mentioning that sales numbers for Kia Lucky Motors, Master Changan Motors, Regal Motors, MG Motors, and Al-Haj Proton are not included in the report as they are not PAMA members.
Car-Wise Sales Breakdown
Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) sold 2,756 units of Alto, 179 units of Suzuki Cultus, 202 units of Suzuki Wagon R, 917 units of Suzuki Swift, 206 units of Suzuki Bolan, and 478 units of Suzuki Ravi.
Toyota Indus sold 1,822 units of Corolla, Yaris, and 32 units of Fortuner and Hilux.
Honda Atlas sold 1,010 units of City and Civic, and 102 units of BR-V and HR-V.
Hyundai Nishat sold 150 units of Elantra, 31 units of Sonata, 269 units of Porter, and 161 units of Tucson.
