This month, again, we are here with details revealing what local car assemblers has earned last month in terms of sales. And this is not first time, we bring same report in the mid of every month.

After observing a nominal jump of 1% in August 2024, car sales chart has observed a surge of 18% last month. As per Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, car makers sold 10,297 units in this September compared to 8,699 vehicles in August 2024.

Meanwhile year-on-year (YoY) sales reported a growth of 24%. Local car manufacturers managed to sell 10,297 cars last month compared to only 8,312 vehicles sold during the same period last year.

Two & Three wheelers

Highlighting motorcycle and three-wheeler sales, local bike makers witnessed an increase of 26% last month, reaching 130,960 bikes last month compared to 104,234 units in Aug’24. Concerning year-on-year sales, it observed a jump of 22%, selling 130,960 units in September 2024 against 107,084 vehicles in corresponding period of last year.

Atlas Honda sales saw an uptick of 22% last month, reaching 110,139 units last month against 90,483 units in August 2024. Meanwhile, Pak Suzuki saw a jump of 8%, selling 2,049 bikes last month compared to 1,906 units in August 2024.

Trucks & Buses

Sales of trucks and buses has been increased by 6% last month selling 319 units compared to 300 in August 2024.

Company-Wise Sales Breakdown

Toyota Pakistan’s sales increased by 11%, selling 2,367 units last month compared to 2,129 vehicles in August 2024.

However, Honda Atlas sales narrate a same story, saw a jump of 11%, selling 1,269 units last month compared to 1,148 units in August 2024.

Pak Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) sales increased by 37%, selling 5,013 vehicles in September 2024 against 3,653 cars in Aug’2024.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Nishat sales observed an up of 15%, selling 677 units last month compared to 591 units in August 2024.

Sazgar Engineering (SAZEW) sales decreased by 13% in September 2024, selling 827 cars contra to 952 units in August 2024.

It is worth mentioning that sales numbers for Kia Lucky Motors, Master Changan Motors, Regal Motors, MG Motors, and Al-Haj Proton are not included in the report as they are not PAMA members.

Car-Wise Sales Breakdown

Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) sold 3,146 units of Alto, 59 units of Suzuki Cultus, 182 units of Suzuki Wagon R, 608 units of Suzuki Swift, 615 units of Suzuki Bolan, and 403 units of Suzuki Ravi.

Toyota Indus sold 1,883 units of Corolla, Yaris, and Corolla and 484 units of Fortuner and Hilux.

Honda Atlas sold 1,143 units of City and Civic, and 126 units of BR-V and HR-V.

Hyundai Nishat sold 100 units of Elantra, 58 units of Sonata, 258 units of Porter, and 261 units of Tucson.
