Last November, Polestar exhibited its first mobile phone, which is expected to work with the brand’s expanding array of electric vehicles. There has been little news about the Polestar Phone in recent months, but the device has now appeared on Google Play’s list of supported devices. This suggests that we are getting closer to an actual launch, but Polestar has not yet given any official confirmation.

The Polestar smartphone was showcased at the Polestar Day event, which revealed a design inspired by the Meizu 20 series. The Polestar Phone has a metal frame and three camera modules housed in individual camera rings – a main camera with an equivalent 23mm focal length and an f/1.9 aperture, alongside a 70mm telephoto with an f/2.0 aperture and a 15mm ultra-wide lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The device is expected to be equipped with a flagship Qualcomm 8 Gen chipset and will run Polestar OS, developed in collaboration with Meizu.
