Last October, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23 FE, which was released approximately eight months after the other Galaxy S23 models. This launch followed a period without an FE model, as there was no S22 FE. With the FE line making a comeback, Samsung seems committed to continuing it, as they are already in the development stages of the Galaxy S24 FE.

A recent report from Korea suggests that the Galaxy S24 FE will be released this summer. This is significantly earlier than previous FE models and even earlier than the launch of the non-FE S24 series, which was released in January.

If this report is accurate, then Samsung’s rumored Unpacked event in early to mid-July could be quite eventful with multiple announcements. Aside from the Galaxy Z Fold6, Flip6, Galaxy Ring, and Galaxy Watch7 family, the S24 FE may also be introduced during this busy event.

Sources from the supply chain in Korea have confirmed this information. One company involved in producing display components for the Galaxy S24 FE has already started mass production of these components in preparation for the summer release of the phone.

The production volume is expected to be in the millions, indicating Samsung’s confidence in the success of the S24 FE. The phone will feature an OLED display with thin bezels, as reported by the supply chain sources.
