The recent trend of price reductions by local car companies has come as a surprise, especially considering the market predictions. This could be attributed to the new government’s formation and the stabilization of the PKR against the dollar. It bodes well for the local industry, which has faced challenges such as high car prices, delayed deliveries, and numerous shutdowns in recent years.

Looking ahead, hopefully, the local automotive industry will experience stability, pass on benefits to consumers, increase market activity, and boost sales, which would positively impact the overall economy.
