After Sindh held its first-ever premium number auction in June 2024, Punjab’s government seems to be following suit. The provincial government has brought a perfect offering for those who want to personalize their vehicle number plate with their name or company branding. Moreover, three numbers or three letters are also an option.
Punjab the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department took this initiative giving citizenry the opportunity to add a unique touch to their vehicles.
How Does it Work?
The new launched scheme offers three categories for customization:
Platinum Category: This category allows for up to eight characters, including names or meaningful words. For instance, you could choose “SARAH” as your number plate. Platinum category has a price base of Rs. 5 million.
Corporate Category: Designed for businesses, this category allows companies to display their names on their vehicles. Examples include COCA-COLA, PEPSI, NESTLE, U-FONE, and AI-FALAH. The Corporate category has a fixed price of Rs. 10 million for registration and an additional fee for each attractive registration mark.
Gold Category: If you are interested to add some specific letters or number on your vehicle number plate this category can turn wish into a reality providing you a mix of three letters and three numbers. The price for gold category clocks at Rs. 0.5 million
