The OnePlus 12R has recently arrived in North America and Europe, and those who purchased the 256GB storage version can now receive a full refund if they return their device.
To summarize, OnePlus initially promoted the 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the OP 12R as having UFS 4.0 storage, but it was later revealed by OnePlus President and COO Kinder Liu that it was actually using the slower UFS 3.1 type. The company has confirmed that all buyers of the 256GB storage OnePlus 12R are eligible for a full refund until March 16.
