Realme 12 Pro is set to come with a Sony camera sensor, similar to its Pro+ sibling, as announced by the brand. While the Pro+ was confirmed to feature an IMX890, the non-Plus version will have an IMX882 sensor. The phone has also been listed on the company’s website with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

While the camera sensor has not been officially confirmed, it is expected that the Realme 12 Pro will be the first phone to feature it. There are suggestions that it may be a rebranded version of the LYT-600, which is found in the Oppo Reno11 5G and the vivo S18e.

The main camera is expected to be 50 MP and promises to “revolutionize” the photography experience, according to a post. The Realme 12 Pro was seen in a Cream Gold version, and the renders show that it will not include a periscope lens. Instead, it will have three cameras arranged in a square formation with an empty circle.

The 12 Pro will offer 20X zoom (different from the 120X on the Pro+), which suggests it will have a 2x telephoto lens with 10x digital zoom. The final details will be revealed on January 29 at noon IST, when the phones will be officially announced.
