The Realme Note 50 is set to make its debut and it won’t be coming alone. The company has ambitious plans for the series, with three phones scheduled for release by the end of the year and a target of 10 million units in sales.
Realme Europe CEO and Global Marketing Director Francis Wong shared details about the company’s aggressive plans and provided more insight into the availability of the new series.
The first Realme Note smartphone will be unveiled in the Philippines on January 23, with two additional models following in the coming months.
Realme’s Note lineup is intended to fill the sub-$100/€100 gap in the company’s product range. These phones will be positioned below other brands’ mid-range Note series. Realme plans to introduce the Note phones in nearly every market where the company operates over the next few years.
India is one notable exception, where Realme believes it already has a diverse enough product lineup. Similarly, the Note series will not be launched in China, where Realme primarily operates as an online brand. Realme anticipates that the Note series will largely be purchased by consumers who prefer to experience the products in person before making a purchase.
The goal is to achieve 10 million unit sales in 2024. Realme is confident that the superior build quality of its Note series, offering better designs and higher quality materials than the competition, will help them reach this target.
Realme also promises superior quality control – an area of concern for entry-level devices – and improved after-sales support. While specific details about software support were not disclosed, Realme indicated that they are aiming to offer longer warranties and more frequent updates compared to their competitors.
