Realme is gearing up to release the GT Neo6 SE smartphone with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, and news has now surfaced about another Neo6 phone in the works, likely equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The device, with model number RMX3852, has recently received certification from 3C in China, confirming support for 120W charging.
Reports from China indicate that the upcoming phone will bear the name Realme GT Neo6.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the GT Neo 6. In a previous month, tipster Digital Chat Station hinted that the phone would feature a 144 Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1220p. The GT Neo 6 was also spotted at Eurofins with the same charging capabilities, but under the model number RMX3851. Some speculate that the phone may be marketed internationally as the Realme GT 6.
Some may view Realme’s decision to launch a GT phone with a 120W charging rate as a step back, considering that the GT5 and GT3 models featured versions with a blazing-fast 240W charging rate that could fully charge the battery in just over 10 minutes. The potential rebranding for the international market remains unconfirmed, so at this point, it’s all still speculation.
