Realme has hinted at the upcoming release of a new product line called Note. Subsequently, a leak has disclosed that the Realme Note 1 is on its way to compete with the Infinix Note 30 and Redmi Note 13, both of which feature an OLED screen and a large battery with fast charging capabilities.
The anticipated launch date for the Realme Note 1 is in January 2024, and it will feature a 6.67” OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In addition, it will be equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 16 MP front-facing camera.
As for the camera system, the Realme Note 1 will have a total of three rear cameras – 108 MP + 8MP + 2 MP. The device will be powered by a Dimensity 7050 chipset and will come with a 5,000 mAh battery capacity and 67W wired charging.
Based on these specifications, it seems that the Realme Note 1 will be positioned as an alternative to the Realme 11 Pro, with an additional camera. The phone will target the midrange market and serve as an option for consumers who do not wish to spend on a Pro+ handset.
There is also the potential to present an 11 Pro-tier phone as a more budget-friendly alternative to the upcoming 12 Pro duo.
With the Realme brand introducing a new Note lineup, it appears to be entering a segment that is already occupied by several other well-known smartphone manufacturers. The true intentions of this move will be unveiled once the official announcement is made.
