Asus recently announced the official release of the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro, but there have been no details about availability in the US. Despite this, one of our resourceful readers contacted Mobile Advance, an official Asus selling partner for the US, to inquire about the launch time frame.
To our surprise, a representative from Mobile Advance quickly revealed the dates. As seen in the screenshot provided by our reader, pre-orders for the ROG Phone 8 Pro in the US are scheduled to begin on February 29.
The phone will then be shipped between March 11 and March 31. It is uncertain if the same dates apply to the ROG Phone 8. The ROG Phone 8 Pro will be priced at $1,199.99, while the ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition will be sold for a steep $1,499.99. This version comes with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage (compared to 16GB and 512GB, respectively, for the non-Edition Pro), as well as an AeroActive Cooler X and Aero Case included in the retail package.
On the other hand, the ROG Phone 8 will be available for $1,099.99. For more information about the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro, be sure to check out our detailed review.
