The Note 40 series is expected to introduce Infinix’s fastest charging technology yet. This was confirmed by Infinix’s reveal of the retail box for the Note 40 Pro+ 5G.
From the glimpses seen below, it’s evident that the phone will support at least 100W wired charging, with a possibility of up to 200W – setting a new record for Infinix charging speeds. Additionally, the Note 40 Pro+ is teased to feature Wireless MagCharge, which was recently previewed exclusively.
Being likened to Apple’s MagSafe, the Wireless MagCharge system is expected to support up to 110W charging, although the Note 40 Pro+ may not reach that speed based on the image shown above.
Further details from the box image suggest the phone may have a curved screen, with Infinix promising flagship-level experience with the Note 40 Pro+ 5G.
Alongside the Pro+ model, Infinix is also set to introduce the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, and Note 40 Pro 5G, as per certification listings in Indonesia. The Note 40 Pro 5G is reported to come with a 5,000 mAh battery, leading to speculations that the Pro+ variant may follow suit, although this is not confirmed.
The Note 40 Pro, which is 4G-only, will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM, according to the Google Play Console. It will debut with Android 14, featuring an FHD+ display with a pixel density of 480 ppi. The FCC has revealed that this model supports 70W wired charging.
