Huawei’s P70 was set to make its debut this month in China, but recent rumors from the country suggest a delay. The P70 series is now expected to be officially unveiled next month, likely towards the end of April.

Initially, there was speculation in China about possible supply chain issues causing the delay, which is not surprising given the restrictions imposed on Huawei by the US Government over the years.

However, a tipster on Weibo refuted the notion that the delay was due to supply chain problems. Instead, it seems to be a result of multiple products being announced alongside the P70. The company is still planning to host a launch event this month, but for different products. It appears that Huawei has a busy few weeks ahead.

The P70 is rumored to feature a 50 MP main camera with variable aperture, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, a 4x optical zoom 50 MP telephoto camera, a “1.5K” 6.7-inch OLED display, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It will be powered by the Kirin 9010 chipset.
