Welcome
While not as popular as other models in the Galaxy S lineup, the Galaxy S Plus has its own dedicated fan base. It appeals to those looking for a larger Galaxy S screen without having to pay extra for features they might not use. Today, we are taking a look at the Galaxy S24+, which marks a return to its former glory with a Quad HD display!
The most significant change since the Galaxy S21 series is the return of the 1440p OLED display, last seen on the Galaxy S20+ in 2020. This premium panel features a 6.7-inch LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 513ppi, 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, HDR10+, and up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness.
Worth noting, our review is based on the Exynos model of the device.
The redesigned aluminum frame is sturdier, flatter, and has a matte finish, giving the Galaxy S24+ a fresh and modern look.
Depending on the market, the hardware of the Galaxy S24+ varies. Global models feature the Exynos 2400 chip with a 10-core CPU and new AMD graphics, while the US, Canadian, and Chinese models are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The S24+ is available in 256GB and 512GB variants, both with UFS 4.0 chips and 12GB of RAM.
The camera system is equivalent to that of the Galaxy S24, S23+, and S23. It includes three rear cameras – a 50MP OIS primary, a 10MP 3x telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide. The front camera is a 12MP shooter with autofocus and 4K capturing capabilities.
Additional features of the Galaxy S24+ include Ultra Wideband (UWB) support and a larger 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Unboxing the Samsung Galaxy S24+
The Galaxy S24+ comes in a slim black box with a USB-C cable and a SIM ejection tool.
Pre-order customers also receive a 25W power adapter, a 15W charger pad, and a clear case. However, the availability of these extras may vary by market.
The USB-C cable included in the Galaxy S24 series’ retail packaging is officially rated at 3A or up to 25W. This means that if you purchase a 45W charger or a similar one without a compatible cable, you will need to find one in order to take advantage of faster charging speeds.
