Welcome to March! This past week, the Mobile World Congress took place, bringing along some exciting announcements.
One standout announcement was Samsung’s unveiling of the Galaxy Ring, a new addition to their smart fitness and health tracking lineup. Although Samsung only showed a prototype and teased it without revealing specs, price, or availability, the official launch is set for early July.
We had a close look at the Galaxy Ring this week and captured some photos. It comes in three colors – silver, grey, and gold, with a slightly concave top part housing its technology and sensors in the inner circle.
The highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2a) is set to debut next week (March 5), with Nothing teasing Londoners with an AR unboxing near Old Street, showcasing the phone in white and revealing its full back panel.
First batch of Xiaomi devices slated to receive HyperOS updates includes Xiaomi 12 and 13 series, along with Redmi Note 12 and 13 models.
As the Mobile World Congress comes to a close, the Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO) winners were announced. The Pixel 8 series received the Best Smartphone award, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 won breakthrough device innovation. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra was honored as the best connected consumer device, with the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design taking home the best in show award.
