The Pad 9, also known as the Tablet 9, was first launched by Honor in China towards the end of 2023. This 12.1″ tablet is specifically targeted towards the education sector.
Recently, the company expanded the tablet’s availability internationally at the MWC event, and we have received a unit for review. Additionally, we also have the Smart Bluetooth Keyboard, which will be available for separate purchase but at a discounted rate when bundled with the tablet.
The Pad 9 seems to be designed primarily for landscape orientation, evident from the placement of the main and front cameras and the wide front bezel. The Bluetooth keyboard comes with magnets that allow the Pad 9 to stand at an angle suitable for shorter individuals, such as children.
Equipped with two speakers on each side, the device features a USB-C port for the 8,300 mAh battery. The package includes an EU adapter supporting 35W Honor SuperCharge charging, along with the required cable.
Our review unit of the Honor Pad 9 boasts 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, with no option for expandable storage via microSD.
