Introducing the Samsung Galaxy A25 – the budget-friendly smartphone that holds a significant place in Samsung’s efforts to become a smartphone leader once more.

The Galaxy A25 is expected to meet or even exceed the standards set by its predecessor, the Galaxy A24, and it seems to have achieved this goal.

This new phone comes with a 5G capability (unlike the LTE-only Galaxy A24) thanks to a more efficient 5nm Exynos 1280 chipset. Additionally, it features a Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, an improvement from the 90Hz on its predecessor. However, the AMOLED still lacks an embedded fingerprint scanner – the Galaxy A25 has a capacitive side-mounted one instead.

Moreover, there’s a higher-res 8MP ultrawide camera compared to the 5MP one on the previous model.

As for the box contents, there isn’t much to mention. Similar to the A24, the Galaxy A25 only ships with a single USB cable – a choice that seems suitable for even one of the most affordable Galaxy A phones.

We received the Personality Yellow model, which features an eye-catching color. There are also more understated options such as Brave Black, Fantasy Blue, and Optimistic Blue.

The Galaxy A25 follows Samsung’s updated design language with a slightly sculpted frame, offering a more pleasant tactile experience and a more secure grip.
