A week back, the facelift version of the Toyota Yaris was announced after three years of its launch in Pakistan. This new version was only focused on aesthetic updates, and no performance upgrade was given to this compact sedan. At PakWheels, we drove this newcomer to check the viability of the recently added technology and features. Let’s brief our readers on that below.

Level-Up Exterior

Parent company Toyota has claimed that the overall front fascia of the Yaris facelift is inspired by the hammerhead shark ‘wide and impactful’. Other exterior updates are new fog lamps for improved visibility, modern LED headlamps and DRLs with a ‘follow me home’ feature, new radiator grille, sport alloy rims, redesigned front and rear bumpers, shark fin antenna for improved aerodynamics, smart door handles, rear parking sensors, and retractable mirrors.

Premium Interior

The modified interior gives you two color options: beige and black. Where we chose the black top line variant for its extra-ordinary exquisite appeal. Facelift Yaris comes with polyurethane foam to provide better driving comfort. The premium feel is enhanced with a leather-stitched steering wheel. The old Yaris 7-inch infotainment screen has been replaced by the new 9-inch floating screen, with the addition of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Luxurious appeal is added by bringing cushioning on doors. Moreover, the top-line variants now have push start option too. Also, the cruise control is added to assist the driver in speeding up to the custom-limit pre-set.

Facelift Yaris Pricing

Base variant of Toyota Yaris costs 4,479,000 (*Ex-factory price), the top-line variant with beige interior comes in 6,255,000 (*Ex-factory price), while the exclusive variant with all-black interior retails at 6,319,000 (*Ex-factory price).
