At least 20 people were killed while 21 others were injured this morning after a passenger bus fell into a ravine on the Karakoram Highway in Diamer, a district of Gilgit-Baltistan. According to rescue officials, the bus was traveling from Rawalpindi to Gilgit when the driver lost control of the vehicle near Gunar Farm.

The rescue official told the media that the bus overturned and crashed near the banks of the Indus River.
