Atlas Honda Takes 87% Market Share
In the PAMA Report, the AHL reported selling 103,297 units in May 2024, surpassing all previous monthly sales figures for the year. The total sales of 2-wheelers for the month were 118,811 units, which means that Atlas Honda alone captured 87% of the market share.
Although consumers mostly criticize Atlas for producing low-quality motorcycles and charging a huge sum of money, i.e., 160k PKR for the most basic CD70 and 230k PKR for the 80s CG125, Atlas is still ruling the 2-wheeler market with no competition behind it.
United Dominates in Locally Produced Motorcycle Market
United took the #1 market share in locally produced motorcycles, also known as “China bikes” in the local market. In May 2024, United sold 9,131 units, surpassing the second-most-selling local 2-wheeler company, Road Prince Motorcycle, which sold only 1,429 units. In % change, United sold 538% more than the Road Prince.
