So here we’re again for you, with this time going even lower in the budget, i.e., best motorcycles under 30-40k.
Note: There are about 150 motorcycle manufacturers that produce the same Chinese 70cc motorcycle. To save you time, we have mentioned some popular brands 70cc that offer good resale and good market presence as well as some other options.
United US70 2015-17
United could be the best choice if you have a low budget and are looking for an entry-level bike with low running costs. It’s a 70cc replica of the Honda CD70 with very easy on the pocket. It does about 50 Km/l and can get you from point A to B.
A bike with a budget of 30-50k can’t offer you good cosmetic condition, so keep that factor in mind. The only things you would have to check for are the engine condition, clutch plate life, and accidental condition of the chassis.
We’re not saying to avoid buying an accidental bike, but make sure to consider its price. An accidental chassis is always 20% cheaper than a non-accidental chassis.
Price range: 35-38K PKR
Yamaha Royale YB100
If you’ve got a budget of 30-40k and the only thing you need is power, torque, and acceleration, one thing I can say for sure is that 70cc can’t be the option for these types of preferences. In that case, you’ve got the Yamaha YB100, a 2-stroke masterpiece.
Acceleration and torque-wise, it’s unbeatable! It’s an old 1980s motorcycle that is now commonly used by milk suppliers due to its high torque, which allows them to carry and transport heavy milk containers on it.
Also, in the 1990s, it was used by Karachi street criminals for snatching and gun-point theft. Its acceleration was so impressive that it made it very difficult for victims to chase after the thief, and by the time the police reached the crime scene, the thieves would have fled on their YB100. But now, CG125 has replaced YB100 and has become a national bike for robbery and theft in Karachi.
Let’s return to our point. You should note that the YB100 will only give its optimal power when its engine is in good condition. This is because it’s a 2-stroke engine, and its lifespan is very, very short compared to a 4-stroke engine.
So, in the YB100 case, you probably need to invest some money in its clutch and ring-piston work. But once it’s ready, even CG125 and GS150 can’t gap YB100 in the short run.
So, the YB100 could be a good choice if you want thrill, acceleration, and power and can afford regular visits to a mechanic. Note that its fuel economy is very bad, at most 27-30 Km/l.

Road Prince RP70 2016-17
Road Prince also has also got some market presence after United. Their 70cc motorcycles are the most selling model in their product lineup. Recently, we came to know that they have invested a significant amount in their EV products. But with a budget of 30-40k, you don’t expect anything fancy from a Road Prince.
It’s a 70cc motorcycle, and it does about 50 km/l with a top speed of 70 Km/h; we don’t suggest you do a top-speed test on your 40k bike. You can spend some more money in the future and get it in tip-top condition, which will only cost you about 15-25K PKR, depending on the condition and quality of the parts you use.

Metro MR 70 2016-18
Metro is also a considerably good brand to consider, with a good brand profile in Chinese bikes. This brand is also investing heavily in the EV sector, and currently, it’s the #1 market holder of EV scooters.
For this price tag, you can get a 2016-18 model Metro that can do 50 Km/l if the engine and clutch are in optimal condition. You can’t expect anything fancy from this range bike.
You’ll only need to make sure that the engine is in good condition, doesn’t make a rattling noise, and the clutch is fine.
Price range: 35-40k
Honda CD70 2005-10
The Honda CD70 is also a good choice. It was also the first 70cc bike in Pakistan. Its ride quality is good, and its suspensions are also better than that of other Chinese 70cc bikes. We know that in the budget of 30-40k, you can’t find any good CD70, but believe me, if you are able to find this motorcycle of 2005-10 model with good engine condition, it’ll be a true value for the money. Why?
It’s because if you restore it using original parts, it’ll be just as new as a brand-new CD70, with a smooth ride, vibration-free experience, and much better suspensions than a Chinese 70.
Now, finding a genuine condition one decade-old CD70 in a 30-40k budget can be a struggle and can take weeks or even months, but not impossible, how soon you may be able to find, largely depends on your luck!
Note: On Pakwheels and other classified ads platforms, you’ll see some newer models, like the 2017-2020 models, with a 20-40k budget. STAY AWAY FROM THAT! Those are fake ads and 100% scams.
