Just a few weeks ago, Changan launched the black edition of Alsvin. These changes are just aesthetic, nothing mechanical or performance-wise. For these aesthetic changes, Changan is asking 25,000 PKR more than their Lumiere edition.
Are there any Body Changes?
Besides side view mirrors and alloy wheels, there are no body changes. All the body is the same besides the wheels and mirror colors. Moreover, on the interior side, it’s just all black. The previous edition had a black color interior with some touches of beige on the seats and the roof, as well as on the door panels. The new edition, as its name suggests, is all black on the interior. Now, some people might like this concept, and some might don’t like the all-black edition.
Fun fact: Did you know that before 2012, the beige interior was used as the top variant, while the black interior was considered the base variant? But today, a black interior is regarded as a premium variant, and beige is being used in the base variant.

Does the Price Justify it?
The difference between Lumiere and Black Edition is 25,000 PKR. For 25,000, the company is offering some good aesthetic changes, so the price justifies it. It’s a good package, and if you plan to do these things aftermarket, it will surely cost more than 25,000 or even double.
Are there any Performance Changes?
No, there are no single performance changes. It’s the same engine, gearbox, tires, and even the same alloys; just the color of the alloys and mirror is changed. For 25,000, you can’t expect the company to offer performance upgrades.
