On July 16th, Master Changan Motors introduced the Changan Oshan X7’s facelift and a new variant. The latest facelift features are all the same for the three variants, two old and one new add-on.
What Covers the Facelift?
The facelift only covers some exterior and interior features, including new colors, minor design changes, interior colors, and rim upgrades.
It doesn’t cover any performance or engine upgrades; the same 1.5L Turbocharged engine and the same 7-speed wet DCT transmission. We’ll cover the detailed 1-1 comparison later in the article.
Launch of New Variant
Master Chnagan Motors has also added a new variant to the lineup, “7-seater FutureSense.” Previously, there were two variants: 7-seater Comfort and 5-seater FutureSense. The new variant add-on is a 7-seater FutureSense. We don’t know why Changan was selling a 7-seater as the base variant and a 5-seater as the top variant before, but now you also have the option to buy a 7-seater in the top variant.
Pricing and Discount
Unlike the Big 3, who add 1-2 million to the price even for minor changes like interior color in a facelift, Changan has shown a good gesture by offering discounts, even when it would have been a great time to increase the price due to the facelift.
Here are the pricing details and discounts:
7 Seat Comfort:
- Ex Dealership Price: 8,299,000
- Introductory Price: 8,099,000
- Discount: 200,000
5 Seat FutureSense:
