Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) announced it has resumed the commercial production of the “Special Purpose Kia Commercial Vehicle” with its product name Kia Shehroze. The company further mentioned that the it will hold roll out and launch ceremony on June 4, 2024, meaning next week.
The development was shared with Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today through a notice. DFML’s notice read that by the grace of Almighty Allah, it has resumed the commercial production of Special Purpose Kia Commercial Vehicle with its product name Kia Shehzoree and its roll-out/launch ceremony has been scheduled for June 4, 2024.
“We look forward to continue serving the people of Pakistan with high-quality products and after-sales services though our strong nationwide dealership network,” the statement read. This move marks a strategic step towards enhancing the automotive landscape in the country and catering to the evolving needs of consumers.
Earlier this February, Dewan Farooque Motors Limited made an announcement narrating that it has unveiled a plan to recommence local assembly operations of KIA Commercial Vehicles in Pakistan, with the iconic KIA Shehzore slated for launch this year.
