A couple of days ago, different rumors and reports started circulating on social media that the production of DFSK’s crossover SUV, Glory 580 Pro, was halted. Some reports even claimed that the car has been discontinued. However, these rumors are totally false and untrue.
According to the company official, the vehicle’s production hasn’t stopped, and bookings and sales are underway across the country. “The reports are just not true because we are selling our crossover SUV to our consumers,” the official said, adding that customers should not believe these false rumors and must confirm them from company dealerships.
On the contrary, the company is offering immediate delivery of Glory 580 Pro. “So, anyone who is interested in buying this product can reach out to the nearest dealership,” the official concluded.
Revised Price of Glory 580 Pro After Tax
A few weeks back, when the federal government proposed the new withholding tax in fiscal budget 2024-25, we informed you in our blog that car prices would be increased soon after the budget was approved. And interestingly, the same happened.
In a new amendment, the withholding tax on cars will now be charged on the ex-factory price rather than their engine capacity like earlier. This move has urged car makers to surge car prices. Following MG Pakistan, Regal Automobiles also updated its car prices.
According to the company’s official notification, customers will have to pay additional charges of Rs. 135,800 for DFSK Glory 580 Pro as advance tax. Similarly, the new advance tax for Prince-DFSK K07 (Humsafar) and Prince Pearl is Rs. 26,690 and 9,250, respectively.
