Make, Model, Variant

This one was a 1992 Honda Civic Ferio bought in 6.5 Lacs 2 years ago. The major intention of modifying this car was to improve its performance and upgrade its aesthetics to make it a daily-driven family wheeler eventually. Usama bought his first car in 2014, which was a 1988 Honda Civic, which he improvised according to his needs and budget.

Modification Steps

At the time of purchase it was a stock Honda Ferio. He initiated this project by modifying the front fascia by changing bonnet, show grill, and bumper taken from a Honda hatchback. He then moved towards the side profile by upgrading to 15 inches Spoon Sport rims. Later he advanced to modifying the suspension.

Another bold step was changing the engine. The functional one is D15B with EFI, which cost him around 1 lac two years ago. He changed the carburetor technology to EFI to improve performance and speeding ability.

Later, a booster exhaust was installed for the love of noise, and lastly, the exterior was completed by giving a black partial wrap.

Other Features

The interior was enhanced by installing an infotainment screen, an aftermarket cluster panel case, repositioning the climate control, and altering the sunroof. A gear console was also added to improve the cabin’s beauty, while the steering wheel remained in stock condition.

Overall Project Cost

This Honda Civic Ferio was bought for 6.5 lacs, and the modifications cost around five lacs, which later exceeded the total price of this sedan to around 12 lacs. Don’t you think it is a perfect daily commuter car that anyone can purchase in this era of high inflation?
