As expected, the Toyota Corolla is number one in sales in the used car market, at least on the Pakwheels platform. According to our data analysis team, Pakwheels sold over 57,208 units of the 11th-generation Corolla within one fiscal year of 2023-24. We think the reason is the Corolla’s price hike. Within two years of 2022-24, Corolla’s price increased by over 100%. So now it makes for people to prefer the used Corolla over the new one. Another reason could be the resale, as Corolla’s resale is superb, so it’s the most sold car in the market.

The 10th-generation Corolla is also in demand in the used car market. For those who are looking for a used car under a 22 lacs budget, Corolla is serving them the best option. Other options in this budget are the Civic Eagle Eye and City 2012 model. The Civic has fuel economy issues, and the City has a lousy resale as compared to the Corolla 10th generation. Corolla in this budget has got a good resale, easy spare parts availability, and you get a Toyota’s reliability.
