In Pakistan, motorcycles are more than just a mode of transport—they’re a cultural phenomenon. We’ve even developed a unique way of associating certain motorcycle types with specific personality traits. So, based on memes, reels, and social media, here are the bikes that reflect the owner’s nature and type.

Yamaha YBR G (You get triggered when CG125 overtakes you)

YBR owners think that they’ve got an aesthetic motorcycle that looks really good, especially those who buy the YBR G variant. But never say, “CG beats YBR in a drag race,”  to a YBR G owner because this line is their biggest weak point. They get triggered when a CG overtakes them on the road. Of course, after spending 482,000 PKR for a cool, aesthetic-looking 125cc motorcycle and then seeing an old 1970s vibrator 125cc beat your YBR like a drum, it is naturally disappointing.

Just for the feel, some YBR G owners install SC Project or Akrapovic exhaust to experience the feel of a performance superbike. But the truth is that, no matter how many modifications they do, CG125 will beat YBR every time. To counter that, you’ll see YBR G owners complaining about CG’s looks and ride comfort. That’s just their insecurities to counter their underpower YBR.

Suzuki GS & GR 150 (They think they’ve got a Harley Davidson)

GS and GR 150 owners believe they have some Harley Davidson, BMW, and Kawasaki cruiser bikes. In reality, GS and GR are simple utility motorcycles that were never made for touring or cruising on highways. The irony is that you’ll find 90% of GS and GR owners will be motorcycle tourers. They actually think they got some cruiser motorcycle.

They do long tours on GS and GR 150 and hurt their backs, but they refuse to accept the truth. GS and GR both don’t have a balancer shaft in the engine, so on long rides, the back hurts after 45 minutes of constant riding, but these owners still think they can do a 4-5 hour non-stop ride on them.

Hi-speed Infiniti 150 (When you order Cafe Racer from China)

This 150cc cafe racer is all good when you look at it from a distance. Riding it and owning it is a big headache. Besides the looks of this motorcycle, there’s nothing good in it. Its suspensions are as hard as a rock, like a military jeep. The self-start motors give up just after three months of use, and the engine vibrates like a generator.

But Infiniti 150 owners are so smart that they are willing to pay 415,000 PKR for a showpiece motorcycle that is practically useless for any ride type. We think that Hi-speed spent all their R&D money on design and looks and got out of budget when designing the ride comfort.

You’ll see these Infiniti 150 owners riding the bike with full swag, but you don’t know their inner pain of spending 415,000 PKR for a bike whose self doesn’t work, hard rock suspensions, and generator-like engine.

Honda CB150F (Exhaust smoke and ring-piston work is in their faith)

CB150F Silver - Atlas Honda

CB150F owners are aware of a manufacturing defect, yet they are so obsessed with its looks and still want to purchase it. Ring-piston and exhaust smoke will become part of your faith once you buy CB150F. It’s the design flaw of its engine.

These owners also live in a bubble. They think their motorcycle has immense torque and that it is made for north tours. In reality, if you do an 800-meter drag race with a CG125, just after 50 meters, the CG will fly past them. And these CB owners take pride in the initial 50-meter race lead.

Especially those who buy orange CB150s, these owners think they’ve got the world’s most good-looking motorcycles, although their orange rim color fades out within a few months of the purchase.

Honda CG125 (Always reckless drivers and one-wheeling obsessed)

CG125 Red - Atlas Honda

Expecting them to follow traffic rules is like expecting the impossible. CG125 riders always drive recklessly, especially if the rider is young and under 30. They’ll overtake other vehicles blindly. In fact, whenever you see a CG bike in your side mirror, be prepared; they’ll overtake you no matter what is the case.

They are basically afraid of getting overtaken by other vehicles, especially if it’s YBR and CD70; they just can’t digest being overtaken by these two motorcycles. Another trait of CG owners is their love for one-wheeling. You’ll see the majority of one-wheelers using CG125 for wheeling, especially in Karachi and Rawalpindi.

When a YBR owner reminds them of the vibrations and uncomfortable ride quality of CG, they counter it with the pick-up and acceleration of their motorcycle, giving YBRs a fly-by on the road.

Honda CD 70 (You’re a person who just wants to get from point A to B without frills)

If you ride CD70, you’re probably a student who’s dependent on your father, or you’re just a very simple person who wants to get from point A to point B. These CD70 owners don’t prefer a fun ride, just a simple machine that can save them a lot of money in fuel, maintenance, and ownership costs. If you do like a fun ride and still ride CDs, you probably don’t want to waste your money on other bikes like CG, YBR, and GS.
